If there is heavy rains meteorologists check the river gauges and tell us if there might be a flood.Buy extra food and water. Flood water is probably not clean drinking water.

10. To tell if a flood is coming there needs to be about 5 hours of heavy rain or a siren must go on, here on the T.V or radio.
11. Advice: encase a flood is ever coming your way the safest place to go is high ground.Floods have reached a roof top and that is why I am telling you to take my advice.
12. What you need in a safety kit for a flood:you need 20 days food and water, flash light blanket sell phone
stuffy games encase you get board and even maybe a change of clothes.
